Liverpool FC have made serious progress this week over a potential deal for AFC Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen. As things are played out the most successful club in England look set to land his signature this summer, bar any adversities.

Huijsen wants to be in a competitive environment that pushes him to be the best player he can be while also winning trophies. Huijsen is aware of the volume of players within Chelsea's squad, which could be seen as a negative in their pursuit of the 20-year-old. Whilst Liverpool looks to land his partner Milos Kerkez, playing advantage to Liverpool's hand in the battle.

Real Madrid's situation around Dean Huijsen remains complicated, with the Spanish giants just recently having held internal discussions over the future of their management, with Xabi Alonso set to take the reins from Carlo Ancelotti.
