LIVERPOOL FC AFC BOURNEMOUTH REAL MADRID

Liverpool FC have made serious progress this week over a potential deal for AFC Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen. As things are played out the most successful club in England look set to land his signature this summer, bar any adversities.

JamesWilliam reported in January that Liverpool were and still are monitoring the development of Dean Huijsen at AFC Bournemouth. Liverpool are now longtime admirers of Huijsen, with the Premier League champions eager to build a dynasty, with this summer transfer window being seen as an opportunity to bolster their options within the squad. Joe Gomez looks set to leave the club this summer after 10 years of service. Jarell Quansah is also among those who may leave the club this summer. Liverpool are actively in the market for a center back regardless of departures. We understand that Dean Huijsen is the main target for that position.

Liverpool are in pole position to land Dean Huijsen this summer but do face competition from other clubs. Including some Premier League rivals, Chelsea & Arsenal. Arsenal have ignited their interest in Huijsen recently, with Mikel Arteta looking to tie down another defender to add to their long list. Meanwhile, on the other side of London, Chelsea, like Liverpool, have been longtime admirers of Huijsen, with factors playing in their favor on the player-side officials. Reports deeming Chelsea to be the current frontrunners of the race for the Spaniard's signature are extremely wide of the mark. Huijsen wants to be in a competitive environment that pushes him to be the best player he can be while also winning trophies. Huijsen is aware of the volume of players within Chelsea's squad, which could be seen as a negative in their pursuit of the 20-year-old. Whilst Liverpool looks to land his partner Milos Kerkez, playing advantage to Liverpool's hand in the battle.

Real Madrid's situation around Dean Huijsen remains complicated, with the Spanish giants just recently having held internal discussions over the future of their management, with Xabi Alonso set to take the reins from Carlo Ancelotti. It's complicated to see where Madrid stands amongst transfer targets this summer, including Huijsen & Alexander-Arnold, amid so much uncertainty around the club. Huijsen dreams of a move to his boyhood club in Spain, but we understand that the 20-year-old will remain in the Premier League next season and has recently grown frustrated over being left in the dark by Madrid officials amidst their interest in the center back. Dean Huijsen comes with the cost of £50m; however, the release clause can be paid in multiple installments. When the light dims towards negotiations between clubs, impacted Liverpool is certainly in favor after winning their 20th Premier League title and the history the club holds, having previously won 6 Champions Leagues, something that Huijsen appreciates greatly. Liverpool also face little to no threat from Real Madrid for Milos Kerkez, the Hungarian has decided on Liverpool.
